A 39-year-old man, identified as Akula Bharath, died in a hit-and-run accident at Dundigal on Sunday evening. Police said an unidentified vehicle hit Bharath’s bike from the rear when he was going home from Gandimaisamma. He died on the spot from a severe head injury. Police registered a case and began a hunt for the car driver.
