Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) secured a significant contract from Mozambique Railways (CFM) for 10 advanced 3300 HP AC-AC diesel-electric locomotives, following the successful delivery of six locomotives in previous years. These locomotives, equipped with modern amenities and capable of 100 kmph, will enhance Mozambique’s railway infrastructure. This achievement underscores India’s engineering prowess and strengthens the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
