Malayalam filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery has responded to actor Joju George’s claims of unpaid dues for his cameo in ‘Churuli’ (2021). Pellissery issued a statement with payment receipts, refuting George’s allegations. He clarified that all payments were made and the OTT release was due to the film’s ‘A’ certificate and a High Court order concerning explicit language.
