After 23 years on the run, Hanumanth Husenappa, 75, was apprehended in Gangavati town, Koppal district, for the alleged murder of his third wife, Renukamma, in 2002. Husenappa, a former junior assistant at a primary health center, is accused of stabbing Renukamma to death after a domestic dispute. He had been evading authorities since the incident.
