An Air India Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad, killing at least 265 people. The plane plummeted into the residential quarters and mess of BJ Medical College, claiming the lives of doctors, students, and others on the ground. The Tata Group has announced compensation for the victims’ families and pledged to rebuild the damaged facilities.
