Losing weight can be a challenging endeavor, especially when compounded by health issues. Udita Agarwal, a certified nutritionist, embarked on a transformative journey to shed weight not only for fitness but also to enhance her overall health. Her remarkable achievement of losing 30 kg in just eight months, without stepping foot in a gym, has captured widespread attention on social media. Udita’s weight dropped from 95 kg to 65 kg through the adoption of healthier lifestyle habits, which also allowed her to discontinue medication that was contributing to her weight gain.
Udita shared in a viral video that she had struggled with obesity since childhood, facing issues such as pigmentation, severe health problems, hair loss, acne, and facial hair. She managed to lose 30 kg naturally by focusing on clean eating. One of her biggest challenges was curbing cravings for junk food, which she overcame by finding healthier alternatives.
Among the habits that contributed to her success was the daily consumption of detox water made by boiling jeera, ajwain, sauf, and methi in water. This practice helped prevent bloating and aided digestion. Udita also emphasized the importance of not being overly strict with her diet; even if she occasionally indulged, she maintained her dietary discipline the rest of the time.
Udita advised against being discouraged by fluctuating weight. She monitored her weight daily but remained undeterred by temporary increases, staying committed to her diet plan. Eating only home-cooked meals was another key strategy; she even carried homemade food when dining out to avoid unhealthy options.
Drinking chia seed water was part of her routine as well. She soaked chia seeds in half a liter of water and consumed it throughout the day as part of her detox regimen, alongside meeting her daily water intake goal of 3-4 liters. Additionally, she avoided snacking with tea and eliminated maida from her diet while still allowing some sugar.
