In a tragic discovery, the body of Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found in her Karachi apartment, located in the Defence Area, three weeks after her death. The incident came to light when neighbors reported a foul smell emanating from her residence. Concerned by her prolonged absence, they alerted the police at 3 AM. Upon arrival, the authorities forced entry into the apartment and found her deceased on the floor. Humaira Asghar Ali, originally from Lahore, began her career in the entertainment industry in 2015. She appeared in supporting roles on television shows such as “Just Married,” “Ehsaan Faramosh,” “Guru,” and “Chal Dil Mere.” Her film credits include “Jalaibee” (2015) and “Love Vaccine” (2021). She gained further recognition by participating in the reality show “Tamasha Ghar” on ARY Digital in 2022. Her talent was acknowledged with an award for Best Emerging Talent & Rising Star at the National Woman Leadership Awards in 2023. Following the discovery of her body, it was sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem examination. Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed reported that the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition. The exact cause of death will be determined after chemical analysis reports are completed. SSP-South Mahzoor Ali revealed that Humaira had not paid rent since 2024 and was under court orders to vacate the flat. The police are attempting to contact her family through available contacts to inform them of the situation.
