In a recent interview with News18, Tanushree drew parallels between her situation and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, suggesting that there is an attempt on her life by what she describes as the “Bollywood mafia gang.” Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in 2020 sparked widespread controversy and conspiracy theories, although no foul play has been officially confirmed.

Harassment at Home and Police Involvement

Tanushree shared a video detailing harassment at her home, prompting her to contact the police. She recounted, “Guys, I’m being harassed in my own home. I just called the cops.” The police advised her to file a formal complaint at the station. Reflecting on past experiences during the MeToo movement in 2018, she expressed dissatisfaction with the Mumbai Police’s handling of her case back then.

Previous Allegations Against Nana Patekar

Tanushree’s allegations of sexual harassment against actor Nana Patekar date back to 2009 during the filming of “Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss.” Despite filing a complaint with CINTAA in 2008 and later pursuing legal action in 2018, the police cleared Patekar of charges in 2019, citing potential malicious intent behind her complaint.
