At a recent INDIA Bloc dinner meeting, Rahul Gandhi presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation alleging voter fraud in Karnataka, accusing the BJP of “vote theft” with the Election Commission’s involvement. The meeting, attended by 50 leaders from 25 parties, focused on electoral irregularities in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Gandhi’s presentation included photo evidence of fake voters and outlined six main irregularities, including duplicate voter entries and misuse of Form 6 for first-time voters.
Gandhi’s allegations have sparked significant controversy, prompting the Election Commission to request a formal investigation or declaration under oath. Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi described the meeting as “positive,” emphasizing the unity among opposition parties. CPI general secretary D Raja also found the meeting meaningful, highlighting concerns about the Election Commission’s functioning and voter enrollment issues.
The dinner was attended by prominent leaders such as Sharad Pawar, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Akhilesh Yadav, and others. National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah expressed concerns over statehood restoration and a recent book ban. The meeting showcased a united front against electoral manipulation.
INDIA Bloc leaders plan to protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar with a march from Parliament House to the Election Commission on August 11. Rahul Gandhi will also lead a protest in Bengaluru against alleged voter list manipulation in Karnataka.
