Mumbai’s Gorai village is set to inaugurate India’s first dedicated mangrove park by mid-August, a project costing INR 33.43 crore. The park features a 750-metre elevated boardwalk, a viewing deck, and an 18-metre watchtower for birdwatchers. An educational Nature Interpretation Centre, powered by solar panels, aims to raise awareness about coastal ecosystems, blending relaxation with environmental learning.
