Archaeologists in Turkey have unearthed a remarkably preserved royal tomb, Tumulus T-26, dating back to 750 B.C. at Gordion, the capital of the Phrygian kingdom ruled by the legendary King Midas. The untouched burial chamber contained bronze cauldrons and iron tools, indicating a royal lineage.
