A shocking incident has surfaced from a daycare in Noida’s Paras Tierea residential complex, where a 15-month-old baby girl was allegedly assaulted by a woman attendant. The parents of the infant discovered bite marks on her thighs, which led to the revelation of further abuse captured on CCTV footage. This footage shows the attendant hitting the baby on the face and intentionally dropping her to the ground, causing widespread panic among residents.
The parents initially mistook the marks on their daughter’s thighs for an allergic reaction. However, after consulting with teachers at the daycare and visiting a doctor, they were informed that these were bite marks. Alarmed by this discovery, they requested to view the daycare’s CCTV footage, which confirmed their worst fears about the attendant’s abusive actions.
Following these revelations, the parents filed a complaint at Sector 142 police station, leading to an FIR against the attendant. The police have since detained the accused and are conducting further investigations. The daycare owner is also under scrutiny for failing to intervene during these incidents and allegedly threatening the parents when confronted.
Sandeep, the father of the baby, expressed his distress over the situation, noting that they had been sending their child to the daycare since May 21. He highlighted that another family in the complex experienced similar issues and plans to file a complaint. This incident has raised serious concerns about safety standards in daycares across residential complexes in Delhi NCR.
The parents are demanding accountability from both the daycare owner and attendant to prevent future occurrences of such abuse. Sandeep emphasized the need for hiring mature and patient caregivers for infants. The police are also investigating potential irregularities in how the daycare, managed by a woman named Charu, employed a minor for such a sensitive role.
