Father Seeks Severe Punishment for Daughter’s Murder

In a tragic turn of events, Deepak Yadav, father of tennis player Radhika Yadav, has expressed a desire for the harshest punishment after allegedly killing his daughter. According to family relative Vijay Yadav, Deepak has openly stated that he should be hanged for his actions. The incident occurred earlier this week at the family’s residence in Sushant Lok, Sector 57, Gurugram.

Family Unaware of Motive Behind the Tragedy

Radhika’s uncle, Vijay Yadav, shared with reporters that the family is still in shock and unaware of what led Deepak to commit such an act. He emphasized that Deepak had always shown immense love for his daughter and that no one in the family could comprehend the motive behind the tragedy. Vijay mentioned that Deepak referred to his actions as ‘kanya wadh’ and insisted on facing severe consequences.

Clarification on Radhika’s Tennis Activities

Contrary to earlier reports, Vijay clarified that Radhika was not running a tennis academy. Instead, she was involved in teaching children at various locations. He dismissed any claims of pressure related to shutting down an academy, stating that Radhika initially played tennis locally and gradually began training children in her community.

Financial Independence and Alleged Taunts

The police had previously suggested that financial disputes over a tennis academy might have contributed to the incident. However, Vijay refuted these claims, asserting that Deepak was financially independent with substantial rental income from properties. Despite this, he had reportedly been depressed due to taunts about living off his daughter’s earnings.

Family Denies Dependency on Radhika’s Income

Vijay strongly denied allegations that Deepak was financially dependent on Radhika. He highlighted the significant investments made in her career, amounting to crores of rupees. Vijay expressed regret over the incident and wished Deepak had shared his troubles with him before it escalated to such a tragic outcome.
