The excitement surrounding Bigg Boss Season 19 is intensifying as the show gears up for its much-anticipated premiere on August 24. As fans eagerly await the announcement of this season’s contestants, speculation is rife about who will enter the Bigg Boss house. Among the names being discussed is Himanshi Narwal, the widow of a Pahalgam terror attack victim and a former college mate of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav.
According to a report by Telly Chakkar, the show’s producers are considering Himanshi Narwal for the upcoming season. A source revealed that the makers are keen on including individuals who can instantly connect with viewers, and Himanshi’s story has certainly captured public attention. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding her participation in the show. Meanwhile, several social media platforms have reported that she has not been approached and will not be part of Bigg Boss 19.
Himanshi Narwal gained public attention earlier this year following the tragic death of her husband, Navy officer Vinay Narwal, in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. The couple was on their honeymoon when the attack occurred, and images of Himanshi mourning beside her husband went viral on social media. This heartbreaking incident has made her a figure of public interest.
Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, shared in one of his vlogs that Himanshi was his college mate. He reminisced about their time together in college but mentioned that they had not been in touch since graduating in 2018. Despite the rumors and speculations surrounding her potential participation in Bigg Boss 19, there is still no clarity on whether Himanshi will join the show.
In addition to Himanshi Narwal, other names reportedly being considered for Bigg Boss 19 include Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, Munmun Dutta, Lataa Saberwal, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), Jannat Zubair, Purav Jha, and Apoorva Mukhija. Earlier reports suggested that YouTubers and social media influencers might be excluded from this season.
