Apache Helicopters Arrive in India

Fifteen months after establishing a squadron in Jodhpur, the Indian Army has received the first three of six AH-64E Apache helicopters from Boeing. These advanced attack helicopters are set to bolster India’s defense capabilities, particularly along the Pakistan border. The Apache’s arrival marks a significant upgrade to the Indian Army’s rotorcraft fleet, which currently includes indigenous Dhruv Rudra and Prachand helicopters.
