The incident occurred during a car parking dispute near Kintore Avenue last week while Singh was out with his wife to view the city’s light displays.

Details of the Assault

According to reports from The Australia Today, the attack took place at approximately 9:22 PM on a Saturday. Singh recounted that a group of men approached him, hurled racial slurs, and launched an unprovoked physical attack. He quoted the attackers as saying “f— off, Indian” before they began punching him. Despite attempting to defend himself, Singh was beaten until he lost consciousness.

Extent of Injuries

The assault left Singh with severe injuries, including brain trauma and multiple facial fractures. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and transported him to Royal Adelaide Hospital for overnight treatment.

Police Investigation

Police have arrested a 20-year-old individual from Enfield in connection with the assault and charged him with causing harm. Authorities are appealing for public assistance to locate the remaining suspects. CCTV footage is currently under review as part of the ongoing investigation.
