Martha Nolan‑O’Slatarra, a 33-year-old fashion entrepreneur from Manhattan, was discovered dead aboard a boat at the Montauk Yacht Club, a luxury marina located at the eastern tip of Long Island. Known for her high-end bikini brand and vibrant social media presence, Nolan’s untimely death has prompted an investigation by the Suffolk County Police Department’s Homicide Squad. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when East Hampton Town officers responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious woman on a vessel docked at the marina.
Upon arrival, first responders found that nearby good Samaritans had already attempted CPR on Nolan. Unfortunately, these efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation and medical examination have yet to determine the cause of death, with an official ruling pending an autopsy by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Originally from Carlow, Ireland, Nolan was the founder of East x East, a boutique resort wear label she actively promoted on TikTok. Her content often featured behind-the-scenes glimpses of her photo shoots and design process. In one notable campaign in Mallorca, she described her work as “a beautiful love story,” expressing joy in seeing her visions come to life. Her recent social media activity included celebrating a pop-up event at Gurney’s Resort in Montauk.
The Montauk Yacht Club is known for its upscale clientele and summer tourism appeal. A spokesperson for the club confirmed the incident and expressed condolences while emphasizing cooperation with law enforcement. The Suffolk County Homicide Squad continues to lead the investigation, urging anyone with information to contact detectives at 631-852-6392.
