Jaishankar Vows Justice for Pahalgam Attackers at SCO Meeting

During the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, strongly condemned the attack in Pahalgam. He described the incident as a deliberate attempt to destabilize the economy of Jammu and Kashmir and incite religious tensions within the region. Jaishankar’s remarks underscored India’s firm stance against terrorism and its unwavering commitment to bringing those responsible for such acts to justice.
Jaishankar urged member states of the SCO to adopt a unified and resolute approach towards combating terrorism. Jaishankar also highlighted the importance of improving transit and connectivity within the SCO region. Enhanced connectivity is seen as a key factor in boosting economic growth and fostering closer ties among member states.
