Maharashtra Teen Dies by Suicide After Mother’s Death

In a deeply saddening incident from Solapur, Maharashtra, a 16-year-old boy named Shivsharan Bhutali Talkoti took his own life following the death of his mother. The young boy was found hanging at his maternal uncle’s home on Friday. This tragic event unfolded just three months after his mother passed away due to jaundice, leaving Shivsharan devastated and struggling to cope with the loss.
Officials discovered a poignant suicide note left by Shivsharan, which provided insight into his emotional state. In the note, he expressed his overwhelming grief and longing to reunite with his mother, whom he claimed appeared in his dreams urging him to join her. The note read, “I am Shivsharan. I am dying because I don’t want to live. I should have left when my mother left, but I was alive seeing the faces of my uncle and grandmother.”
Shivsharan’s note also contained heartfelt messages for his family members. He expressed gratitude towards his uncle and grandmother for their support and care during his difficult times. He implored his uncle to ensure the happiness of his sister and requested that his grandmother not be sent to live with his father. His final words were filled with appreciation for the love he received from them, signing off as ‘Yours, Pintya,’ a nickname given by his family.
Shivsharan was a bright student preparing for the NEET examination with aspirations of becoming a doctor. He had achieved an impressive 92 percent in his Class 10 exams, showcasing his academic potential and dedication to his studies. His untimely death has left a void in the lives of those who knew him and highlights the profound impact of losing a loved one.
Following this tragic incident, a case has been registered at the Solapur city police station. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding Shivsharan’s death, aiming to provide closure to the grieving family.
