New NCERT Module Highlights ‘Operation Sindoor’ and India’s Military Prowess

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is set to introduce a comprehensive educational module titled ‘Operation Sindoor’ aimed at enlightening students about India’s military achievements. This initiative is designed for students from Classes 3 to 12, providing them with insights into the nation’s defense capabilities and technological advancements.
The module will delve into India’s robust defense mechanisms, showcasing the country’s preparedness in safeguarding its sovereignty. By exploring ‘Operation Sindoor,’ students will gain an understanding of strategic military operations that underscore India’s commitment to national security.
In addition to military prowess, the module will highlight India’s significant strides in technology and science. This section aims to inspire young minds by illustrating how scientific innovations contribute to strengthening national defense and enhancing global standing.
The educational content will also cover Mission LiFE, an initiative reflecting India’s dedication to sustainable development. Furthermore, it will address the historical context of the Partition, offering students a glimpse into the challenges faced during that era and the resilience demonstrated by the nation.
A notable inclusion in the module is India’s accomplishments in space exploration. Students will learn about Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s visit to the International Space Station (ISS), symbolizing India’s growing influence in space technology and international collaborations.
