The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has unveiled a new SRIVANI Darshan Ticket Centre, strategically located opposite the Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan. This initiative, launched on Tuesday, aims to enhance the ticketing process for devotees visiting the sacred site. The inauguration was led by TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao, marking a significant step towards improving the overall experience for pilgrims.
For years, devotees have faced the challenge of enduring long queues, often starting as early as 5:00 AM, to secure SRIVANI Darshan tickets. Recognizing this issue, Mr. Naidu emphasized the importance of the new ticket centre in alleviating these wait times. Constructed at a cost of Rs. 60 lakh, the facility boasts advanced infrastructure designed to expedite the ticketing process, thereby making it more efficient and user-friendly.
The SRIVANI Trust is a pivotal initiative by TTD that allows devotees to contribute to temple projects in exchange for special entry darshan. This program has seen high demand, often leading to significant delays in ticket availability. The newly established centre is expected to mitigate these delays with its streamlined operations, ensuring a smoother experience for all visitors.
In addition to the new ticket centre, Mr. Naidu also introduced upgraded sub-inquiry offices at the High-Level Cottages (HVC) and Annaprasadam Complex (ANC) areas. These modernized facilities are designed to provide better information and assistance services to pilgrims. During his visit, Mr. Naidu inspected these setups to ensure they meet the needs of devotees effectively.
