OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 smartphones in India, introducing them with a range of advanced features and competitive pricing. Both devices run on Android 15, enhanced by the company’s OxygenOS 15 interface, and incorporate new AI functionalities that were first seen in the OnePlus 13s. A notable feature of the Nord 5 is the programmable Plus Key, replacing the alert slider found in previous models. Both phones are equipped with a robust 50-megapixel rear camera, offering high-quality photography capabilities.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is priced at Rs. 31,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes in variants of 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB storage, priced at Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 37,999 respectively. The Nord CE 5 starts at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB model, with additional configurations available at Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 28,999 for more storage options.

Available in Dry Ice, Marble Sands, and Phantom Grey colors, the OnePlus Nord 5 will be available for purchase starting July 9 at noon. The Nord CE 5 will be available from July 12 at midnight in Black Infinity, Marble Mist, and Nexus Blue colors. Customers using eligible bank cards can avail a Rs. 2,000 instant discount on their purchase.

The OnePlus Nord 5 features a dual-SIM setup with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It boasts a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The device supports various connectivity options including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and more. It houses a substantial 6,800mAh battery supporting fast charging at up to 80W.

Similarly, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chip and offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It has a slightly smaller AMOLED screen measuring 6.77 inches with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits. The device also supports fast charging with its included SuperVOOC charger.

Both smartphones are equipped with advanced camera systems featuring optical image stabilization for superior image quality. They also include an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and an IR transmitter for controlling appliances.
