Doctors in Raipur successfully performed a complex tracheoplasty with anterior tracheal wall reconstruction on a 36-year-old patient suffering from severe subglottic stenosis. The patient, who initially developed breathing difficulties post-colon perforation treatment, underwent a re-do tracheostomy before the major reconstructive surgery. Using septal cartilage, the team restored the patient’s airway, enabling normal breathing and effective communication without a tracheostomy.
