Mohit Suri’s latest film, “Saiyaara,” has taken the box office by storm, amassing an impressive Rs 105.75 crore within just four days of its release. The film, featuring debutant Ahaan Panday, has quickly become one of the highest-grossing films of 2025, showcasing its strong appeal among audiences.
“Saiyaara” opened with a robust Rs 21.5 crore and continued to gain momentum over the weekend. On Sunday, it achieved its highest single-day earnings of Rs 35.75 crore. Although there was a slight dip in earnings on Monday, with the film bringing in Rs 22.50 crore, it did not hinder its overall success at the box office.
The film’s total earnings have already surpassed the lifetime collections of notable films such as Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday’s “Kesari Chapter 2,” which earned approximately Rs 92 crore, and Sunny Deol’s “Jaat,” with Rs 88 crore net. “Saiyaara” has also secured a spot among the top five highest opening weekends of the year and is now the seventh highest-grossing film of 2025.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, “Saiyaara” explores themes of love, loss, and heartbreak. The film stars Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician, alongside Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra, a young writer diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film’s emotional narrative and soulful music have resonated deeply with audiences, particularly Gen-Z viewers.
The powerful performances by Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have contributed significantly to the film’s success. Their portrayal of complex characters has captivated audiences and created widespread excitement about their future in the industry.
