A recent study published in The BMJ suggests that alternate-day fasting may be more effective for weight loss than intermittent fasting or calorie restriction. Researchers analyzed numerous clinical trials and found that alternate-day fasting showed modest benefits in reducing body weight and LDL cholesterol.
