Arrests Made in Connection with Quadruple Murder Suspect

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has apprehended two individuals, Giovonte Thomas, 28, and Tanaka Brown, 29, for allegedly assisting Austin Drummond, a fugitive wanted for a quadruple murder. Both have been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Additionally, Brown faces a charge of tampering with evidence. These arrests are part of an ongoing manhunt for Drummond, who is accused of killing four people in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

Details of the Manhunt and Charges

Austin Drummond remains at large following the alleged murders last week. The victims, identified as family members of Drummond’s girlfriend, were found in Tiptonville, approximately 125 miles from Memphis. An infant related to the victims was discovered abandoned on a stranger’s lawn. Authorities have intensified their search efforts, with U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller urging anyone with information to come forward anonymously. The reward for information leading to Drummond’s capture has been increased to $17,500.

Role of the Arrested Associates

While the TBI has not disclosed how Thomas and Brown allegedly assisted Drummond, they are described as his “associates.” Thomas was already detained in Madison County Jail on an unrelated charge and will be transferred to Lake County Jail for arraignment on the new charges. Brown is currently held without bond at Lake County Jail.

Ongoing Search and Public Safety Concerns

Drummond is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and weapons offenses. The TBI has warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous. Last Friday, authorities found a vehicle linked to Drummond abandoned in Jackson, Tennessee. The victims—James M. Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15—were discovered last Tuesday.
