Manhunt Launched for Quadruple Murder Suspect

Tennessee authorities have initiated a manhunt for Austin Robert Drummond, a 29-year-old suspect linked to a quadruple murder case. The Dyer County Police Department identified Drummond as the primary suspect in the killings of James M. Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15. These tragic events unfolded in Tiptonville, Tennessee, where the victims were discovered on Tuesday.

Connection to Abandoned Infant

The investigation took a dramatic turn when an infant was found abandoned in a car seat on the lawn of an unsuspecting resident. A witness noticed the car seat and promptly alerted authorities by calling 911. The infant is reportedly related to all four victims, adding another layer of complexity to this already distressing case.

Charges and Criminal Background

Drummond faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder, kidnapping, and several counts of firearm possession by a felon. His criminal history reveals a previous conviction for aggravated robbery and retaliation, for which he served 13 years in prison before being released on September 1, 2024.

Public Safety Alert

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is actively assisting local law enforcement in their efforts to apprehend Drummond. Authorities have warned the public that Drummond is considered “armed and dangerous” and may have altered his appearance to evade capture. He is believed to be driving a 2016 Audi A3 with Tennessee license plate RI 01896.
