In Jackson, Tennessee, authorities have issued a shelter-in-place order for residents in two areas as they search for Austin Drummond, a suspect in a quadruple murder case. Drummond was recently seen wielding a rifle, prompting the Jackson Police Department to warn the public. The confirmed sighting occurred on the 700 block of Pipkin Road on Sunday night, captured on surveillance at a local church. Police emphasize that Drummond is “armed and dangerous,” urging residents to exercise caution and secure their properties.
The investigation has intensified with the involvement of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force. A reward of $32,500 is offered for information leading to Drummond’s capture. Authorities are working tirelessly to ensure community safety and bring justice to the victims’ families. Residents are advised to report any suspicious activities and ensure all entry points to their homes are locked.
Drummond is accused of killing four individuals in Tiptonville, approximately 125 miles from Memphis. The victims—James M. Wilson, Adrianna Williams, Cortney Rose, and Braydon Williams—were found deceased last Tuesday. An infant related to the victims was discovered unharmed on a stranger’s lawn on July 29. Drummond faces charges including four counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, and weapons offenses.
The search for Drummond continues with significant resources dedicated to his capture. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has already arrested three individuals linked to Drummond: Giovonte Thomas, Tanaka Brown, and Dearrah Sanders. These associates face charges related to accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, with Brown also charged with evidence tampering.
