He stated, “We stopped about five wars,” underscoring the significance of these diplomatic efforts over leisure activities like golf. The event marked the opening of the third Trump-owned golf course in Scotland, with Trump expressing pride in his Scottish heritage.

Trump’s remarks highlighted several key international interventions attributed to his administration. These include facilitating ceasefire agreements between Thailand and Cambodia, and averting nuclear tensions between India and Pakistan. Additionally, Trump’s administration played a role in easing conflicts between Serbia and Kosovo, as well as Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A notable achievement was the ceasefire agreement with Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, following U.S.-U.K. military actions.
