Tragic Murder Over Loan Dispute in Uttar Pradesh

In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district, a couple has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 35-year-old man named Anish. The gruesome crime reportedly occurred at the couple’s residence, where they used tools such as a screwdriver and pliers to torture and kill Anish. The motive behind this brutal act was linked to a financial dispute, as Anish had gone to the couple’s home to demand repayment of a Rs 7 lakh loan he had extended to them.

Family’s Heartbreaking Account of the Incident

Anish’s father, Mustakim, provided a harrowing account of his son’s murder. He described how Anish was lured to the couple’s home under false pretenses, only to be met with violence. “They broke his hands and legs, stripped him. They called him to their home and murdered him,” Mustakim recounted. The family revealed that Anish had recently finalized his wedding plans and was seeking the repayment of the loan to support his upcoming nuptials.

Anish’s Desperate Escape and Tragic Death

Despite sustaining severe injuries, Anish managed to escape from the house of Bhure, one of the accused, and reached his own home. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving. The family is devastated by the loss and is demanding justice for their son.

Police Investigation and Alternative Theories

The local police, led by Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, have registered a murder case and are actively investigating the incident. While the primary motive appears to be related to the unpaid loan, police are also exploring other angles. One officer suggested that Anish might have visited Bhure’s wife at night, leading to a violent confrontation when Bhure discovered them together.

Arrests and Ongoing Interrogation

Both Bhure and his wife have been taken into custody as police continue their investigation. Authorities are questioning the couple to uncover further details about the circumstances leading up to Anish’s death.
