Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s Celebrated Union

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, a prominent celebrity couple, have captivated millions with their enduring relationship. Married on December 11, 2017, their wedding was a significant event that garnered widespread attention. Over the years, Anushka’s presence at Kohli’s matches, whether international or IPL games, has been a source of joy for fans. Their anniversaries are equally special, reflecting their cherished bond.

A Culinary Twist for a Special Occasion

In 2019, renowned chef Harsh Dixit had the privilege of crafting a unique dish for the couple’s second anniversary. Known for his innovative culinary skills, Dixit decided to give a vegan twist to the traditional Vietnamese dish, Pho. Typically made with chicken and beef broth, Dixit adapted the recipe to cater to Kohli’s vegan lifestyle.

Innovative Vegan Pho Creation

Chef Dixit shared insights into his creative process during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He replaced traditional ingredients with gluten-free rice noodles and introduced snake gourd as the centerpiece of the dish. The gourd was stuffed with peanuts, coconut, tofu, and coriander before being smoked. Complementing this were water chestnuts, enoki mushrooms, and chilies in a lemongrass-ginger-coriander root broth. A side of chili oil added an extra layer of flavor.

Future Prospects for Kohli and Sharma

Looking ahead, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to participate in upcoming ODI series against Australia and South Africa. Their performance in these matches will be crucial as they prepare for the 2027 World Cup in South Africa. As both players approach their late 30s, discussions about their future roles in the team are anticipated.
