Virat Kohli’s London Residence Speculated by Former England Cricketer

Former England cricketer Jonathan Trott has sparked speculation about the current residence of Indian cricket star Virat Kohli. During a discussion on Star Sports, Trott suggested that Kohli might be residing in the St. John’s Wood area of London. This comes after various reports speculated on Kohli’s whereabouts, with The Telegraph previously claiming he was living in Notting Hill. However, Trott’s comments have shifted attention to the northwest London neighborhood known for its picturesque homes.

Kohli, who has reportedly moved to London with his family temporarily, has been seen around the city over the past month. Despite numerous reports attempting to pinpoint his exact location, no official confirmation has been made regarding his address. Trott’s remark, “Doesn’t he live in St. John’s Wood or nearby? Can he not be persuaded to come back?” has added fuel to the ongoing speculation about Kohli’s London base.

In addition to the buzz surrounding his residence, Kohli recently praised fellow Indian cricketer Shubman Gill for his outstanding performance against England. Gill achieved his second consecutive century and third of the current tour, amassing over 500 runs in just four innings of a five-match series. His remarkable feat included scoring 161 runs off 162 balls in one innings, following a previous score of 269, making him only the second Indian after Sunil Gavaskar to achieve a double century and a ton in a Test match.

Kohli, who retired from Test cricket shortly before the England tour and is now settled in London, expressed his admiration for Gill on social media. He commended Gill for “rewriting history” and encouraged him to continue his impressive form. Gill’s aggregate of 430 runs in the second Test is noted as the second-highest ever by a batter in a match, following Graham Gooch’s record of 456 runs against India at Lord’s in 1990.
